Stamens

 

Stamens: In the shape of a water drop made of plastic, paper or a woven silk ball.

 

Iron wires

 

Iron wires: 20# or 30# thin wires for petals and stalks, depending on the thickness required.

Card paper

 

Card paper: 250~300 pounds in weight, depending on the size of the flowers. Heavy weights for thicker paper, ideal for beginners. 250 pounds suitable for large flowers and for a soft look.

Embroidery threads

 

Embroidery threads: any threads with a glossy surface. Over-edge ones commonly in use these days for their colorful and silky looks, although not designed for entangled flowers. Over-edge threads often in the form of four strings, which should be entangled together into single strings for spring flowers. Double-string threads for binding.

White binding adhesives

 

   White binding adhesives: Polyvinylacetate (PVA) in the form of watery coagulant, a porous material, mostly sold as an adhesive for wood.

Scissors

 

Scissors: different sizes for the cutting of card paper, iron steels and silk threads.

Sticks

 

Sticks: in the shape of a cone, and in pairs dangling on the side of a hair bun. Mostly thin and short, at approx. 10 centimetres. Shorter ones often in vertical with the top of a hair bun.

Pliers

 

Pliers : assistance in the adjustment of the shape. Sharp and straight ones recommended.

Golden foil: The cutting of golden foil into long and slender stripes for the decoration on the petals and leaves, with a purpose of giving entangled flowers a luxurious look.
